Black Walnut - by The Walnut Grove Band - CD

Walnut Grove Band : Black Walnut

(2004)   "Black Walnut" is a great CD from Walnut Grove Band and was recorded by Todd at Echoes during the fall of 2004, beginning on Halloween night. Walnutt led another fresh trio into the studio as The Walnut Grove Band. Casey had just begun to truly settle in on drums and new bassist kid on the block, Josh, was creating some nice low-end sounds. Artwork on this CD includes the familiar logo by Walnutt as well as images from Casey and Deanne. Once again, William tweaks the package art for production.

Walnut Grove Band : Assorta Nutz

(2002)   Walnut Grove Band's 2002 release, "Assorta Nutz", was written, produced and self-recorded by Mark Stewart (Walnutt) in the mountains of Bluemont, Virginia overlooking the Shenandoah River in one of the world's smallest, home-made recording studios. Several guest players are featured on the CD, credited on the liner notes for their voluntary contributions. Mark Stewart performs multiple instruments and created the artwork & logo. Brad Thoesen performs all percussion and assisted in mix-down of several tracks on the CD.

The Walnut Groove - by The Walnut Grove Band - CD

Walnut Grove Band : The Walnut Groove

(2004)   It was Spring 2004. The Walnut Grove Band had become a live trio and the bassist was leaving the band! Oh no, not again! The guys asked John to stay & play bass some more, but he didn't. Walnutt, and newcomer Casey, headed for Echoes' studio anyway and John laid bass for the CD. Pete came in and played blue harmonica on some songs. Walnutt created more art, Casey helped too and even Jane helped some. William kicked in the final detail work on the CD package and "The Walnut Groove" was born.

Green Egg - by The Walnut Grove Band - CD

Walnut Grove Band : Green Egg: Past Issues & Back Issues

(1999-2003) Walnutt has performed and recorded with a bunch of folks, dozens to be truthful, since 1999 in The Walnut Grove Band.  "Green Egg: Past Issues & Back Issues” features many of these guest musicians on rare tracks from Walnut Grove Band’s early archive collection thru 2003.  This particular limited edition CD was entirely self-produced by Walnut Grove Band, is signed by Walnutt and can only be purchased from CD Baby in CD form, while supplies last.  Offering new sounds and alternative versions of Walnut Grove classics from the studio and the stage, this CD is a must for the GroveTrotters!  Dream pop, rock, space jam, tribal, beats and ambient sounds are what “Green Egg” offers. These tunes were recorded between 2000 and 2003 making this a time capsule and look into the history of Walnut Grove Band.  This CD is dedicated to all the folks who have ever been a part of the Walnut Grove. The band's sound has changed greatly since these recordings were made many years ago. Ah, the good ole daze...
